Ohey you're not dead.

God I can remember when you had no idea what you were doing. This looks cool so far.

C+C, right. So right now, when I look at the sprite from afar, the different shades kinda blend together so it's hard for me to tell what's darker and what's lighter. My first suggestion would be to add more contrast to these shades, so I can actually make out the shading. From there, I will be able to tell you if it has a consistent light source and so on.

Next up is the pose. For the most part, it seems fine. The only thing I'm not quite sure about is the arm facing us. It looks like you're trying to make it stick to her side, like how most people stand. If that is your intention, I feel like you're ALMOST there. However, can you see that three-pixel diagonal bit on the coat right where it meets her head? That looks weird.

I'm trying to think of how exactly you would fix it, but I can only come up with two options. Either move the arm closer to the jacket, or straighten out her arm so that there isn't a bend. I'm honestly not sure which one would look better just yet, so you may want to try both and see what looks natural.

That's about it. Happy spriting!
