I may be on a short vacation (partly due to finishing up the WST pages, partly due to having visitors from out of town), but that doesn't mean I can't use my idle time to work on sprite stuff.

So I've been working in short bursts on Niv's new sprites (I got a haircut and bleached my front bangs, so now they're blonde), and a more formal outfit for Lex.

nivs right(our right) arm looks off to me somehow?? maybe just the way its positioned and all, it looks like it's just the forearm? and maybe it's just because of how the hand is overlapping, but the boobs just look like a block.

lex however looks absolutely fantastic, love the shading.

Due to the limited nature of pixels, the way she's holding her hand to her mouth can be taken in.. ways probably not implied.

Second of all, Niv has the leaning skills of a champion. One of her legs needs to be reigned in slightly, so she doesn't break her pelvis from having a natural thrust.

The arm problem may stem from the fact it moves at a PERFECT looking 90' angle from her torso, without any of the upper arm being shown. Unless her arm is like... perfectly down until the pivot, it should poke out infront of her a little, as to be a little more natural.

Also Lex's dress reminds me of one of the Princess Peach smash pallets. Not that it's a bad thing. Creases in the dress could be made a little more obvious, but that's my only gripe there.

In regards to the whole thing with the arm/hand/shenanigans involving the hand at the mouth - that was entirely intentional; it's based on a nervous habit I have in which I bring my hand to my mouth (in case of potential nail biting) while keeping the arm pressed into my body. I checked the positioning on myself several times, that's about as accurate as it'll get.

The other stuff I'll keep in mind, and work on fixing them when I have the time to.
