Well, I think it really depends on what kind of design you're going for~
For instance, the original(I'm assuming that's the one on the far left), has a thicker body structure, and while the shading for the pelvis is a tiny bit off, the thickness of the legs and the upright, curved shape of the horns aren't inherently bad if that's what you were aiming for. Also, I have to say that I prefer this one's neckerchief placement overall.
As for the newer one(Again, assuming the one on the right), is a lot thinner and sleeker, and if that's what you were aiming for, then it's doing it's job~ But it's not necessarily better, just a bit different~ =3

To cap, if you wanted a thicker character with round horns, then the original looks plenty fine, though some of the shading around the legs could use work. If you were looking for a sleeker, faster design, the one on the right is straight up perfect for you~ =3
Though that white cube on the neckerchief could use shading for the sleek design. xD
EDIT: JUST REALIZED THE WHITE CUBE IS WHERE THE SHOULDER GOES
HAHAHA IGNORE ME C: ;;;

@Whip the Rabbit: Thanks for the feedback, Whip. And yeah, the white cube is where the shoulder goes. xD

The sprite is like that cause it's going to be used to make a scratch rapid punching attack.

@NickNoble: No, I get it~ I just didn't realize that at first because I'm more used to wireframes than joint-socket models. XD
But seriously, this is awesome work, and I love watching when people transition from edits to custom~ =3
Well, moreso than usual, in your case. XD

@Whip the Rabbit: Haha, thanks. I do tend to sort of go back and forth with Scratch stuff to edited.
