Part of a Collab I hope to start soon. It's a Bionicle inspired background for a new Earth area. As can be seen I'm trying to expand the Rayg sprite style for the character sprites.

So far I've made a few of the EU Masks as well as some Movie style Turaga. I'm doing my best but I may need help.

By the way when I say Collab I don't mean a Author comic. Its not going to be open to every one. But if your interested in helping me let me know. I'll post more tomorrow. And I plan to post a forum thread after the first.

Also take a look at the previous page for a sprite Mechist asked for crits on. Sorry to bump ya mate.

Looks cool, I might be interested in helping your project along, I've played around with the innerrayg sprites before.

I would smooth out the shading on the center back* wall.

Also, I would add maybe two more shades of low contrast to the main ones and then surround the brightest shade with it, sort of how the sonic-advance backgrounds are done. It will make the shading look more detailed and much more smooth.

@Kelkar Storm-Bringer: Thanks. Awesome do you by chance have skype?

@Mechist: Well the center wall isn't black but I'll give it a shot.

As for more colors its meant to have the same color amounts as the sprites from the Rayg kit. There are four shades per color with the 4th being the out line.

Hmm Maybe adding marks to the brick work could achieve the same effect without a change of pallet amount.

@Kelkar Storm-Bringer: Cool. Guess we can talk through PM here but I like a more permanent/reliable method of talking to you.

Maybe do you have a Deviant Art account?
