THE QUESTION IS... Why are you making more of them? And how come they're getting more views and comments towards them than what I posted three comics back at 2405? *brain can't compute this confusion*

If the colours weren't so eye-bleedy, I'd honestly reccommend these as "civillian" sprites.

In fact, why not just get everyone to do a library of "civillians" or random background characters for use in comics?

@Mr. 'Chidna: A library of... Wh- .... Actually that's not a bad idea... There's ALWAYS a need for civie sprites in comics that have towns... Because y'know... The towns aren't occupied just by the main and side chars normally. XD

@Mr. 'Chidna- Th... that's literally the entire point of the Recolor Citizens project? It's right there in the name? Like, did you not see the original page I posted them and the updated version? Like, literally, it says ON THE IMAGE of this one - http://reidynfriends.smackjeeves.com/comics/1876112/recolored-progress/ - that the ENTIRE POINT is to use them as background characters? And you can edit them or recolor them if you want more variation? And that technically means if you think the colors are 'eye-bleedy' you can fix it yourself? Did you NOT see that?

@Shard: Well golly gosh gee, Shard! Did you ever stop to consider that maybe I'm one of the 5 people on Smackjeeves who don't follow your average-at-best work and MAYBE, by gosh, I haven't seen those images before?
And did you ever stop to consider that the idea of the colours being a bit too vibrant MIGHT be a valid complaint, considering these are characters that are meant to blend into the background and NOT anime main characters?
Learn to take some criticism, and stop wallowing in mediocrity, Shard. Your fanbase may put up with it but I won't.

Rather have some human citizens, don't really want the place filled with rabbits, hedgehogs and so on.

@Mr. 'Chidna: I respect you sir for not wanting to wantonly follow a fanbase and all, but you could have said that in a much more gentlemanly fashion. I pariticularly agree with you in some of the colors being a bit too much, but the thing is individuality is how things works. Some 'fur civilians' will indeed have that bright and eye blaring color due to parentage and author choice and all, but the fact remains, they are a bit much. But, you could have done that in a way that did not make you seem a jerk or a possible troll. Please Chidna, take the high road, not the low one.

Like Yama said, the only 'critique' you gave was a blatant insult. If you want to have me improve - which I am always willing to do - you need to tell me how to fix it. I'm not some genius or something like that. Telling me that the contrast isn't good isn't going to help, because it looks fine on my screen. You have to specifically say "this part looks bad, you could fix it by making this darker/lighter/whatever", not just saying "it sucks change it". Because if you do that I will ignore it as you being rude and seeing me as someone who's high and mighty - which I really do try not to be, but it's rather hard when I have to deal with people like you thinking they're better than me and I admittedly was rather frustrated by the fact that you had apparently ignored previous things I had posted, although in retrospect that was my own fault for not providing a link to the last sheet and assuming that people knew about it, especially because in this image itself Két notes that I'm "making more" which in and of itself should imply that this is something I've done before. And as I have said before, you are free to edit or change it however you want. You are by no means required to just grab and use them as they are, in fact you can change them however you want, even if it's just adjusting the hue/saturation on it (...which is basically what I did to make different colors for these guys, which might explain contrast issues...). The 'Recolor Citizens' project is a public resource for everyone to use and edit how they wish. And honestly, when you insult something that I'm doing for the sake of other people, I take it kind of personally, because I could be using the time I make these to be working on my own comics or something, but instead I choose to do something for the good of the community. And then you come along and say "it sucks" and don't tell me how to fix it, and I am a person who feels things and it bothers me when you don't try to help me despite saying that I need help.

I'm sorry for being a frustrated bitch apparently, but honestly we're both to blame in this whole debacle and if you want me to improve for crying out loud TELL ME HOW TO DO IT.

Wouldn't that just mean he'd prefer them with desaturated hues before distributing for usage? I mean, that's the only way you can really "fix" a neon colour scheme.
(To be fair though, you did assume he reads all the updates on here before insulting him, though he could have started with different words)

@Shard: Also, eye bleedy = overly vibrant, it's not that the contrast or brightness is bad, it's just the colour choices.
Secondly, I don't think I'm better than you. I'm Slightly under if anything.

dicks asses and butts this is a stupid argument sorry for being hostile but i meet hostility with hostility and this snowballed
