yes, someone who is capable of lifting 73.76185458377239 average-weighted male human beings at once SHOULD be able to lift that sword. Hell, with her strength she could wield two of them, one in each hand. Perhaps that's why she's losing all these fights? She's not utilizing her stupidly high strength in any decent way.

Sass aside, the original weapon itself doesn't look dreadful, so it's not surprising your version isn't bad either. The tip isn't symmetrical though, which bothers me. The light source appears to be in the center of the blade, which isn't bad, but it should really be more off to one side.

other than that, the weapon is nice.

The pose is awkward since you apparently reach across your own face, without turning your body. So, unless your arm is capable of suddenly growing, she SHOULDN'T be able to hold it with both hands in that pose. It's an easy fix however, which is just have the head look as if it's turned inwards slightly. Also, one hand should be lowered slightly, as it looks like she's not holding the handle, but is rather clutching at the air around it.

you're on the right track, it just needs a little tweaking.

@Midnight Thunderboy: Nah, it's quite alright. It happens to everybody... I'm especially very bad when it comes to making weapons, so I've found it easier to notice this stuff when it comes to C+C XD

this issue is, the normal blade is very... straight? Which makes it a little more difficult to work with when rotated, since suddenly those straight lines become diagonals, and diagonals become straight/slightly less angled.

a good way I've found to counter this is to simply throw it into something like Paint.Net, which allows you to rotate already existing sprites. This means you can get a feel for how the weapon should REALLY be when rotated... for example:

It's not a perfect fix, but you were REALLY close with how it should be, so the fact it was a little off is what annoyed me...

Also, never apologize for your mistakes. If you feel the urge to do so, the person who made you feel that way is probably an asshole [which, I confess, I am], and you shouldn't put up with it.

anyway, hope that helps somewhat!
