In order to make the backgrounds for Platonic Management Dilemma, I have to use tilesets (since there aren't any pre-made backgrounds due to the randomized nature of the Mystery Dungeons). This wouldn't be so bad if it weren't such a tedious process - firstly, I have to save the individual images of the tiles themselves, then I have to save them as sprites - and subsequently objects - in Game Maker, and then I have to organize them into the background itself while simultaneously coming up with something vaguely maze-like for the purpose of actually using them as a background.

Of course, I'll put the background I end up putting together (as well as all the other ones that I've done so other people can use them) up once I make the background for Waterfall Cave, but that's later. So in order to make this not just me mulling around, I decided to show off some alternate outfits for Niv and Két.

Niv's isn't much different, it's just a different scarf - however, I've decided that Niv's "powers", so to speak, come from the scarves she wears. The blue one she wears normally is the Scarf of Asskicking, which she can manipulate like a fifth limb and use to hit things or deflect objects, etc. She also has a Scarf of Breath, which she can use to breathe in areas she wouldn't be able to normally. The one she's wearing in this, though, is the Scarf of Disguise, which allows her to change her appearance however she wants, provided it's not too complex - hair, clothes, skin tone, etc are fine, but adding limbs and such is out of the question.

As far as Két's goes, it's for Red Bow Chronicles. I have no intention of forcing the cast to wear the same exact clothing for their entire adventure, so I've designed some alternate clothing for them. This is Két's first outfit change, which will show up once they head to the Grand Line. Planning way ahead, yes, but it pays to be prepared, y'know? And as we know, Két is a stubborn kitty who refuses to wear colors, so she's in grays, blacks and whites as per usual.
