*The only one with Balls* Ehem. INITIATE THE C&C GUN!

So, first and foremost, the design itself is pretty basic and reminds me of Zer0 from Borderlands 2 which in and of itself isn't bad, but this doesn't really stand out. Next colors, your color choices are rather bland and sort of dull. Also, the last shade of black and second to last shade are... well, really close. This makes the smaller sprite to seem to only have 3 colors. Also, shading. Stop pillowing. Finde a light source and stick with it. In this, the light seems to be coming from... Face, mouth, and chest : From the viewer's perspective, aka pillow. It's like the light source is inbetween the viewer of the sprite and the sprite itself. On the lower body, the light source seems to be coming from the bottom left, and the shoes look like they are coming from the top left. Stick to one light source. In summary, use brighter/different colors, Shade in one light source, and stop looking generic. Now, to fix this, one, come up with something different on the character, two, when shading make all the brightest shades point to the same direction and never have them point at the viewer, and three, when using colors, don't just slide the brightness from up to down, move the color chooser as well to gain a better shade, that won't blend in with one that's simular. /endrant
