Why did I make this.

A strange power emits from a ruin that Team SMG is exploring one day. The team finds a strange necklace within it. Shard decides to try it on, but when she does she activates a strange trap which attacks them. Shard's powers make her immune to it, but it captures Matt and Glandor, trapping them in a strange crystalline state, and Shard is flung away from the ruins…

When she awakens, she realizes that there's suddenly three more of her! Herself, the Red Shard, accompanied by a Blue Shard, a Green Shard, and a Yellow Shard! They realize that it was the work of the necklace, which was there to seal the being that captured Matt and Glandor. The necklace guides the four Shards around to gather the elements needed to re-seal the evil entity and free the remainder of Team SMG!

Each colored Shard represents a different personality aspect, so to speak.

Red Shard is the embodiment of Shard's sense of justice, duty, and need to help others. When out of danger, she essentially acts like a toned-down version of herself, but at the sight of danger and the possibility of others getting hurt, she charges into action to protect people. She also takes on a leader-like role, since the group's general consensus is that she's the original.

Blue Shard is a weird case in that she seems to be a combination of the embodiment of Shard's sanity and the embodiment of Kumori's personality. Possibly because Kumori lives in Shard's mind, it seems that Kumori resides in this Shard because they are the most alike. Blue Shard is the one most likely to snark at the others and call them out on their stupidity.

Green Shard is the embodiment of Shard's love of adventure. Always wanting to try new things and have fun doing them, she'll jump at the opportunity to go exploring, enter new places, or take risks in the name of fun. While Blue Shard is the smartest of the four, Green Shard is the wisest, being genre savvy about the nature of traps and whatnot in areas.

And finally, Yellow Shard is the embodiment of Shard's silliness and hyperactivity. Always running around and being a derp, she's the one most prone to setting off the traps that Green Shard tells them to avoid, or running ahead and getting herself into danger. She never thinks of the consequences and always acts before thinking, but her impulsive nature means she's not afraid of anything.

...so yeah, this is the result of playing Black 2 and finding Yellow, Blue, Red and Green Shards...

@Neociz: I did too. She's much to happy to be that sour puss though. Does look very much like she could be a relative of him if she wasn't a fox.

And it was a hammer, not a cosmetic.

But ey what do I know.
